One of the aspects I enjoy most about my job is traveling to conferences and meeting linguists from other institutions. I also take great pleasure in bringing people together and creating opportunities for connection.

Diachronic Generative Syntax (26th edition)
University of Oxford, 23-26 June 2025
Since its first edition in 1990, DiGS has established itself as the leading venue for the formal investigation of syntactic change in the generative framework. DiGS26 featured a workshop entitled ‘Investigating diachronic syntax with less-documented and unwritten languages: methods and theory’. The plenary speakers were Anne Breitbarth (Universiteit Gent), Pierre Larrivée (Université de Caen), Ana Maria Martins (Universidade de Lisboa), and Jenneke Van der Wal (Universiteit Leiden).
The conference dinner took place in the hall of Trinity College.

Occitan Studies Day (3rd edition)
University of Oxford, 10 May 2025
The aim of this one-day conference was to bring together a diverse group of experts specialising in Occitan studies. In 2025, the plenary speaker was Bill Burgwinkle (University of Cambridge).

Occitan Studies Day (2nd edition)
University of Oxford, 11 May 2024
This event was inherently interdisciplinary, featuring talks spanning linguistics, history, and literature. In 2024, the plenary speaker was Xavier Bach (Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès).

Summer School of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain
Ulster University, 12 September 2022
The LAGB summer school is a half-day workshop organised by the postgraduate student committee of the association. In 2022, the invited speakers were Christina Sevdali (Ulster University), Liina Pylkkänen (NYU), Maria Teresa Guasti (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca), and Juliana Gerard (Ulster University).

Summer School of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain
Online, 6 September 2021
The LAGB summer school is a half-day workshop organised by the postgraduate student committee of the association. In 2021, the conference was held online and the invited speakers were Raffaella Folli (Ulster University), Maria Polinksy (University of Maryland), Brian Joseph (Ohio State University), and Kersti Börjars (University of Oxford).
